Teuvo Teravainen scored 21 seconds into the third period as the Blackhawks finished off the Jets 3-1 at the United Center. Marian Hossa got the scoring started in the first period and Artemi Panarin sealed it with an empty netter for Chicago, which snapped a three-game losing streak. Patrick Kane assisted on Panarin's score to break Bobby Hull's franchise record with a point in 22 straight games. Chris Thorburn tallied the lone goal for Winnipeg, which fell to 13-13-and-2. Michael Hutchinson made 29 saves in the loss.
The Blackhawks return to action Tuesday at the United Center against Nashville.
