Blackhawks lose in overtime

Mike Hoffman scored the winning goal just 30 seconds into overtime, as the Senators edged the Blackhawks 4-3 in Ottawa. Hoffman finished with two goals and an assist, while Bobby Ryan had a goal and two helpers for the Sens, who snapped a two-game skid. Craig Anderson stopped 35 shots in the victory. Patrick Kane and Artemi Panarin tallied a goal and two assists apiece for Chicago, which has lost three in-a-row. Kane matched Bobby Hull's franchise-record 21-game point streak. Corey Crawford allowed all four goals on 27 shots in the setback.
