For the 6th year in a row, the NIU Huskies will play for the Mid-American Conference football championship.
The Huskies got into the title game after Western Michigan beat Toledo on Friday 35-30.
NIu, Toledo, and Western Michigan all had (6-2) records in the MAC West Division. NIU won the tie breaker by beating both the Rockets and the Broncos this season.
NIU will play Bowling Green on Friday night at Detroit's Ford Field.
The Huskies come into the game with a record of (8-4). Bowling Green is (9-3).
NIU lost their final regular season game last Tuesday to Ohio 26-21. The loss snapped a winning streak of 22 games in November for the Huskies.
