Andrew Desjardins and Andrew Shaw scored goals in the third period to give the Blackhawks a 5-2 win against the Sharks at the SAP Center. Brent Seabrook, Jonathan Toews and Duncan Keith had the tallies for Chicago, which ended a two-game losing streak. Corey Crawford turned away 27 shots in the victory. San Jose got goals from Brent Burns and Patrick Marleau. Martin Jones allowed four goals on 25 shots as the Sharks streak of six consecutive wins came to an end.
The Blackhawks continue their road trip on Friday at Anaheim.
