Peyton Manning won't suit up Sunday against the Bears, yielding the
starting job to Brock Osweiler as the 39-year-old quarterback tries
to get healthy. Manning is dealing with a variety of ailments,
including a torn plantar fascia in his right foot, an undisclosed
ribcage injury and a sore throwing shoulder.
Coach Gary Kubiak decided to make the switch following a 29-13 loss to the Chiefs in
which Manning threw four interceptions and had 0.0 passer rating
before leaving the game in the third quarter.
Kubiak says backup Brock Osweiler will be under center instead.
Sunday's game can be heard on Newstalk 1060 with the Pre-Game Show at
11:30.
