Jonathan Toews added an empty-netter, while Scott Darling made 25 saves in the win. David Jones had the only goal of the night for Calgary. Karri Ramo made 37 saves in defeat.
The Blackhawks begins a 6-game road trip Wednesday in Edmonton.
