The Hornets notched their first win of the year with a 130-105 blasting of the Bulls in Charlotte. Fresh off signing a three-year extension, Jeremy Lamb netted 20 points off the bench for Charlotte. Nicolas Batum added 18 points for the Hornets, who had opened the year with three straight losses. Jimmy Butler poured in 26 points for the Bulls, who dropped to 3-and-2. Doug McDermott scored 17 points, while Derrick Rose had only four points in 24 minutes.
The Bulls are at home Thursday against Oklahoma City.
