The National League Championship Series resumes tonight in the Windy City. After the Mets won the first two games in New York, the series now shifts to Chicago where the Cubs will host Game Three of the best-of-seven series at Wrigley Field. The Mets start Jacob deGrom, who won a pair of games against the Dodgers in the Division Series. The Cubs counter with Kyle Hendricks, who got a no-decision in Chicago's Game Two win over the Cardinals in the Division Series.
The Mets have ridden the hot bat of Daniel Murphy, who has homered in each of the first two games of the NLCS and four straight postseason games overall. The Cubs, meanwhile, have managed just three runs and 10 hits in two games. Chicago will also host Game Four on Wednesday and Game Five on Thursday, if necessary. The Mets are looking to reach their first World Series since 2000. The Cubs last appearance in the Fall Classic was in 1945.
