The Bulls open preseason play against the Bucks tonight at the United Center. The Fred Hoiberg era will begin without Derrick Rose, Taj Gibson, Mike Dunleavy, Pau Gasol and Kirk Hinrich, who will all miss the game. Tip-off is at 7:00.
The Blackhawks will begin defense of their Stanley Cup title tomorrow night against the Rangers. The puck drops at the United Center at 6:30. It's the first of three games this week for the 'Hawks, who will meet the Islanders in a home-and-home set on Friday and Saturday.
