Eric Hosmer's two-run homer in the top of the 10th lifted the Royals to a 5-3 win over the White Sox in Chicago. Alex Gordon clubbed a solo homer in the third and Mike Moustakas added a two-run shot in the sixth for Kansas City, which is a game behind the Blue Jays for the best record in the American League. Franklin Morales earned the win and Wade Davis notched his 15th save. Jose Abreu launched his 30th homer of the season for Chicago. David Robertson took the loss.
