Indians take 2 out of 3 games from the White Sox

Francisco Lindor was 3-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored as the Indians got past the White Sox, 6-4, at U.S. Cellular Field. Jose Ramirez also hit a solo shot for Cleveland, which took two of three from Chicago. Josh Tomlin earned his fifth win and Cody Allen worked around trouble to hold on for his 30th save. Jose Abreu, Trayce Thompson and Tyler Saladino each sent one out in the loss. Jeff Samardzija gave up four runs on eight hits in six-and-two-thirds innings to fall to 9-and-12.

White Sox have the day off. They open up a series at home Friday night against Minnesota.
