Mike Aviles belted a solo shot of his own for the Tribe, who have won nine of their last 12. Trevor Bauer fanned six in seven innings of two-run ball to improve to 11-and-11. Cody Allen closed it out for his 29th save. Chris Sale racked up eight strikeouts in seven frames, but gave up all three runs to dip to 12-and-8. Carlos Sanchez and Tyler Flowers each drove in a run as Chicago had its four-game winning streak snapped.
