Joe Mauer's RBI single during a three-run eighth inning helped the Twins rally past the White Sox, 8-6, in the first of three from Target Field. Miguel Sano smacked a solo homer in the seventh to tie the game for the Twins, who have won nine of their last 11. Brian Dozier had a two-run double to cap a four-run second inning. Kevin Jepsen grabbed the win and Glen Perkins posted his 32nd save. Avisail Garcia belted a two-run homer in the sixth that gave Chicago a brief 5-4 lead. Adam Eaton had four hits and two RBI in defeat. Zach Duke suffered the loss.
