Tyler Saladino hit a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the 11th inning to lift the White Sox past the Mariners, 6-5, at U.S. Cellular Field. Trayce Thompson scored the tying run on a throwing error with two outs in the ninth. Saladino drove in two, while Melky Cabrera went 4-for-5 with a walk and a solo homer for the Sox, who earned a split in the four-game set. David Robertson picked up the win. Kyle Seager gave the M's a 5-4 lead with an RBI single in the eighth. Seager and Austin Jackson had two-run homers for Seattle. David Rollins suffered his first career loss.
The White Sox have the day off. They play in Minnesota Tuesday night.
