Kris Bryant belted his 20th home run of the season with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Cubs a 2-1 win over the Indians in a makeup game at Wrigley Field. Bryant connected for the game-winner off Zach McAllister after Carlos Santana tied the game for Cleveland with an RBI single in the top of the ninth. Anthony Rizzo plated the game's first run with an RBI triple in the seventh. Jon Lester came within one out of a complete-game, but Hector Rondon got the win in relief instead. Tribe starter Corey Kluber struck out 11 over seven-and-two-thirds innings in a no-decision.
The Cubs will be in San Francisco tonight to open up a 3-game series.
