Cubs win 9th straight game as they beat the White Sox 6-3

The Cubs scored three runs in the seventh inning to pull away from the White Sox, 6-3, at U.S. Cellular Field. Kyle Schwarber plated a run in the seventh, and Anthony Rizzo and Jorge Soler added RBI singles in the frame. Jake Arrietta picked up his 14th win for the Cubbies and Hector Rondon got his 21st save. The Cubs have won nine in a row and 15 out of their last 16 games.

It's the Cubs longest winning streak since 2008.

Jose Quintana took the loss for the South Siders with six innings of three-run ball. Manager Robin Ventura was ejected in the seventh for arguing.

Final game of the series is today with the Pre-Game Show at 12:35 on Newstalk 1060.
