Chris Coghlan clubbed two homers as the Cubs took down the White Sox, 6-5 at U.S. Cellular Field. Coghlan nailed a three-run dinger in the third inning, and added a solo shot in the fifth to lead the Cubs. Anthony Rizzo went deep as well as the North Siders took game one in the three-game Crosstown Classic. Kyle Hendricks got chased, but Clayton Richard earned the win in relief. Hector Rondon picked up his 22nd save as the Cubs won their 14th game in 15 tries. Jeff Samardzija [[ suh-MAR-jah ]] got tagged for the White Sox, giving up nine hits and six runs to fall to 8-and-8. Adam Eaton homered for the South Siders, who had their three-game win streak snapped. Game two of the series is tonight, with the pre-game coverage beginning at 5:35 on Newstalk 1060 WRHL.
