The Bears opened preseason play with a 27-10 win over the Dolphins at Soldier Field. Jay Cutler went 4-of-7 for 42 yards in limited action. Senorise Perry had a 54-yard touchdown run in the victory. The Bears will visit the Colts a week from tomorrow.
The Bears' top receiver didn't play in their first preseason game because he is dealing with an injury. Alshon Jeffery injured his calf and was on crutches with a walking boot. Head coach John Fox says Jeffery is day-to-day.
