The Royals offense came alive in the middle innings to knock off the White Sox 7-6 at Kauffman Stadium. Eric Hosmer, Kendrys Morales and Salvador Perez each chipped in an RBI in a three-run fourth as Kansas City picked up its second straight win. Morales and Perez added RBI doubles in the fifth with Mike Moustakas and Lorenzo Cain plating a run as well. Jeremy Guthrie notched his eighth win despite allowing six runs in five-and-two-thirds innings. Greg Holland struck out the side for his 25th save. Jeff Samardzija surrendered seven runs in less than five innings to dip to 8-and-7. Jose Abreu tagged two solo shots as the White Sox fell for the fifth time in six games.
