Avisail Garcia walked with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the White Sox a 6-5 win over the Rays at U.S. Cellular Field. Garcia belted a three-run homer in a five-run first inning for Chicago, which salvaged the finale of the three-game series. David Robertson struck out four over two innings to get the win in relief. Brad Boxberger took the loss for Tampa Bay. Evan Longoria went 3-for-5 with a solo homer and Asdrubal Cabrera had four hits and two RBI before leaving in the 10th when he missed a throw that deflected off his glove and hit him in the head.
The White Sox have the day off today. They play in Kansas City Friday night with the Pre-Game Show at 6:35 on Newstalk 1060.
