Cubs keep wining streak alive at 5 games

Kris Bryant's RBI single in the fifth inning held up as the Cubs clipped the Brewers, 4-3, and swept the four-game series at Miller Park. Addison Russell hit a solo homer for Chicago, which won its fifth straight overall. Clayton Richard plated a run and tossed six innings of one-run ball to improve to 2-and-0. Hector Rondon gave up two runs, one earned, in the ninth but held on for his 16th save. Hernan Perez drove in two runs and Elian Herrera had an RBI and scored twice for the Brewers, who have lost five in-a-row and eight of their last nine. Kyle Lohse  permitted all four runs in four-and-a-third as he fell to 5-and-13.

The Cubs open up a 3-game series tonight in Pittsburgh.
