White Sox end 2-game losing streak with a win over the Yankees

Melky Cabrera launched a three-run home run to help the White Sox roll to an 8-2 thumping of the Yankees at U.S. Cellular Field. Alexei Ramirez added a solo homer and two RBI while Jose Abreu and Tyler Saladino each plated a run. John Danks fanned eight in five-and-two-thirds innings of work to pick up his sixth win. Chicago avoided a third straight loss with the victory. Bryan Mitchell took the loss after giving up four runs on seven hits in four-plus innings. Brian McCann belted a solo shot and Didi Gregorius knocked in a run for the Yanks, who totaled just five hits on the night.
