The Cubs completed a doubleheader sweep of the Cardinals with a 5-3 win at Wrigley Field. Starlin Castro and Addison Russell each knocked in a run and scored for the Cubs, who were 7-4 winners in the opener. Travis Wood earned the win in the relief and Jason Motte notched his fifth save. Jason Heyward plated a run and scored another for St. Louis. Seth Maness took the loss.
Final game of the series is tonight at Wrigley Field.
