Kyle Hendricks fanned six in seven-and-a-third scoreless innings to lead the Cubs to a 2-0 victory over the Marlins in the rubber-match of their three-game set from Wrigley Field. Hendricks gave up five hits en route to his fourth win and Jason Motte closed it out for the save. Chris Coghlan had an RBI-single and scored on a wild pitch in Chicago's three-hit effort. The Cubs have won five of six. Mat Latos suffered the tough loss after giving up one run and striking out seven in seven frames. Jeff Mathis and Christian Yelich both went 1-for-3 in Miami's second consecutive defeat.
The Cubs will be at home tonight against the St. Louis Cardinals.
