Tyler Flowers launched a two-run shot during a five-run ninth for Chicago, which swept the two-game set. Jose Quintana struck out eight across six innings of one-run ball to improve to 4-and-7. Jhonny Peralta doubled in a run in the first for the Cards, who had won six straight before the Interleague series. John Lackey yielded two runs in seven frames to fall to 6-and-5.
The White Sox have the day off. They play at home tomorrow night against Baltimore.
