The celebration of the 2015 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks is set to kick off tomorrow morning. The city announced a parade will begin Thursday at 10:00 a.m., with a rally to follow at Soldier Field. The parade will run along Monroe Street, from Jefferson Street to Michigan Avenue. Tickets for the rally are free and will be available on a first come, first serve basis beginning at noon today through Ticketmaster.
The Stanley Cup is already being spotted throughout the City of Chicago. The trophy made the rounds yesterday including making stops at several local restaurants and bars in the Gold Coast and Wrigleville. The Cup paid a visit to Wrigley Field last night before the Cubs took on the Cleveland Indians. It even made an appearance at the Wrigleyville home of Hawks player Patrick Sharp, who was hosting a party.
