White Sox go (0-5) on road trip

Charlie Morton and two relievers combined on a four-hit shutout as the Pirates blanked the White Sox for a second straight game, 3-0, at PNC Park. Pittsburgh won the opener 11-0 on Monday. Morton allowed the four hits and a walk over seven frames as he improved to 5-and-0. Mark Melancon [[ muh-LAN-sin ]] pitched a perfect ninth for his 21st save. Sean Rodriguez and Francisco Cervelli both hit solo homers and Andrew McCutchen had two hits, a walk and an RBI for the Bucs, who have won six straight overall. Jose Quintana yielded all three runs in six innings as he slipped to 3-and-7. The Sox have lost five in-a-row. The teams will now head to Chicago for two more games at U.S. Cellular Field.

The White Sox are at home tonight against Pittsburgh. Pre-Game Show begins at 6:35 on Newstalk 1060.
