Antoine Vermette scored the go-ahead goal early in the third period of the Blackhawks' 2-1 win over the Lightning in Game Five of the Stanley Cup Finals at Amalie Arena. Vermette was assisted by Kris Versteeg on the go-ahead goal for Chicago, which can clinch its third Stanley Cup in six years at home on Monday. Corey Crawford made 31 saves in the win. Tampa goalie Ben Bishop and defender Victor Hedman collided while attempting to retrieve the puck in the first period, allowing Patrick Sharp to get the rebound for the easy first score. Valtteri Filppula tied the game in the second period for the Lightning and Bishop made 27 saves in the loss. The Lightning are 8-and-4 in road playoff games this postseason going into Game Six.
