Souza Jr. also singled home the tying run in the frame for the Rays, who will look to sweep the three-game set on Sunday. Chris Archer went seven-plus innings in a no-decision. Brad Boxberger was credited with the win, while Jake McGee logged his third save. Conor Gillaspie clubbed a pinch-hit, two-run homer for Chicago. Zach Putnam took the loss in relief of Jeff Samardzija, who permitted three runs in seven innings of work.
