Eugenio Suarez hit the game-winning single in the 10th inning to push the Reds past the Cubs, 5-4, at Wrigley Field. The Reds led 3-0 after one inning, but had to scrap their way to victory. Todd Frazier doubled, homered and scored three runs for Cincinnati. Johnny Cueto got a no-decision with seven innings of four-run ball, and reliever J.J. Hoover improved to 5-and-0 with two innings of scoreless relief. The Reds have won five of their past six. Starlin Castro hit a two-run homer for Chicago, and Hector Rondon took the loss. The loss snaps a two-game win streak for the Cubs.
