The Orioles and White Sox split their doubleheader from Camden Yards. Violent riots in Baltimore forced each game to be postponed last month. Chris Sale dominated the O's in game one, throwing seven-and-two-thirds shutout innings, while striking out 12 as the White Sox hung on to beat Baltimore 3-2. Jake Petricka earned the one out save, as Adam LaRoche went 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI at the plate. Tyler Wilson fell to 1-and-1 for the Orioles. The Birds took game two, 6-3, as six different batters drove in a run in the contest. Rookie Mike Wright improved to 2-and-0 after giving up three runs on six hits in five frames. Zach Britton pitched a perfect ninth for his 13th save. Chris Beck lost in his major league debut.
The White Sox are in Houston tonight. The Pre-Game Show begins at 6:35 on Newstalk 1060.
