Drew Hutchinson went the distance as the Blue Jays blanked the White Sox, 6-0, in the opener of a three-game set in Toronto. Hutchinson fanned eight while scattering four hits and walking none to improve to 4-and-1. Justin Smoak homered and plated three, while Josh Donaldson also went deep in Toronto's second straight win. Hector Noesi allowed five runs in seven innings to fall to 0-and-4. Chicago has dropped three straight and six-of-seven.
