The Blackhawks and Ducks went to overtime for the second time this series with Chicago grabbing a 5-4 victory in Game Four from the United Center. Antoine Vermette netted the game-winner in double overtime off a rebound from his own shot. Brandon Saad scored a shorthanded goal in the first period with Jonathan Toews and Brent Seabrook adding second period goals in the win. Patrick Kane knocked in a power play goal to tie the game at four apiece. Corey Crawford turned away 47 shots as the Blackhawks evened up the seven-game set at two-all. The Ducks trailed 3-1 with a little over 17-minutes remaining in the third. With 11:18 to go, Ryan Kesler, Matt Beleskey and Corey Perry would each score over the next 37 seconds to take a 4-3 lead. It was the second fastest three-goal scoring outbreak in playoff history. Emerson Etem added a second-period goal and Frederik Andersen made 35 saves in the setback. Game Five heads back to Anaheim on Monday.
