Carlos Sanchez hit a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the 10th to give the White Sox a 2-1 win over the Indians at U.S. Cellular Field. Chris Sale pitched eight innings of one-run ball with seven strikeouts, while Zach Duke picked up the win. Adam Eaton scored the other run on a wild pitch. Chicago got above .500 for the first time this season at 18-and-17 by winning the opener of the four-game set. The White Sox have six straight victories. Corey Kluber had another stellar start, striking out 12 over nine innings of work. He gave up one run. Kluber has K'd 30 batters in his last 17 innings. Zach McAllister took the loss. Jose Ramirez had two hits and an RBI for Cleveland, which is 14-and-23.
