Jake Arrieta struck out 10 while scattering three hits in eight innings to improve to 4-and-3. Kevin Plawecki plated New York's only run on a sac-fly in the eighth. Noah Syndergaard allowed three runs in five-and-a-third innings to take the loss in his MLB debut.
