Both the White Sox and Cubs lose on Sunday

Trevor Plouffe's grand slam highlighted a 13-3 win for the Twins over the White Sox from Target Field. Plouffe finished with five RBI. Danny Santana added a two-run single that blew the game open. Kennys Vargas hit a solo homer as well for the Twins, who swept the four-game series. Ryan Pressly got the win in relief. John Danks was chased after two-and-a-third innings, giving up eight hits and seven runs, only three earned. Avisail Garcia went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored, while the Sox scored their other two runs on hit-by-pitches.

Chicago has lost their last 5 games.

White Sox have the day off today. They open up a 3-game series on Tuesday against Detroit. The Pre-Game Show begins at 6:35 on Newstalk 1060.

Aramis Ramirez used his big bat to push the Brewers past the Cubs, 5-3, from Wrigley Field to conclude the three-game set.  It was Milwaukee's first series win of the season.  Ramirez opened the scoring with a solo homer in the second frame, and ended it with a two-run single in the eighth inning that put Milwaukee ahead for good.  Reliever Will Smith got the win after making one out.  Anthony Rizzo posted an RBI-triple for the Cubs, who have lost three of their past four games.  Pedro Strop took the loss.

The Cubs are in St. Louis on Tuesday.
