Chicago Baseball

MLB officials are expected to announce this morning if the Orioles and White Sox will be playing in Baltimore's Camden Yards. Last night's game between the two teams was postponed due to protests over the death of Freddie Gray. The African-American died from spinal cord injuries suffered while in police custody. MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred said last night that the league is considering playing the remainder of the series at another venue.

If tonight's game is played, it can be heard on Newstalk 1060.

Jason Hammel struck out seven batters in eight scoreless innings to lead the Cubs past the Pirates, 4-0, at Wrigley Field.  Hammel picked up the win, improving to 2-and-1 on the year.  Anthony Rizzo went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI and Kris Bryant had two hits and singled in a pair of runs.  Chicago has won three in-a-row and five of its last seven.  The Bucs were only able to rack up four hits as they had their five-game winning streak snapped.  Vance Worley took the loss after giving up all four runs in six frames of work.
