Brandon Saad scored in the third period to force the marathon for Chicago, which grabbed a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven West quarterfinal set. Antoine Vermette lit the lamp in the first, while Scott Darling denied 50 shots in the win. Colin Wilson and James Neal had the goals for the Preds, who will try to avoid elimination at home on Thursday. Pekka Rinne made 45 saves in the loss.
