Blackhawks take (2-1) lead in their series with Nashville

A three-goal second period capped a 4-2 win for the Blackhawks over the Predators in Game Three of their quarterfinal series. Jonathan Toews , Brandon Saad and Brent Seabrook each lit the lamp in the second to put Chicago up for good. Andrew Desjardins started the scoring with a goal in the first for the 'Hawks, who grabbed a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven set. Scott Darling saved 35 shots as he got the start over the embattled Corey Crawford, who gave up nine goals in the first two games. Mike Ribeiro and Mattias Ekholm scored in the first and second, respectively, but Nashville couldn't match Chicago's pace. Pekka Rinne stopped 26 shots in defeat.
