Tommy Milone held Chicago scoreless on two hits into the eighth inning as Twins shut out the White Sox 6-0 in the home opener at U.S. Cellular Field. Milone whiffed seven batters in the win and Brian Duensing got the final four outs for his first save of the year. Brian Dozier homered and Jordan Schafer drove in a pair of runs as the Twins gave rookie manager Paul Molitor his first win. Hector Noesi allowed two runs in four-and-two-thirds innings to take the loss. Adam Eaton and Tyler Flowers both doubled in the setback. Chicago fell to 0-and-4 on the year.
