It was a great weekend for Lexi Sondgeroth of Rochelle as she won the Long Jump and also received All-Americans honors in the 400 and 200 events at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Lexi won the Long Jump competition with an 18 feet, 10 inch mark. She also placed 3rd in the 400 and 7th in the 200 for Wisconsin-Whitewater University.
Sondgeroth is a 7-time All-American Indoor track athlete.
Michelle Dobbs of Rochelle was also an All-American at the meet. The Sophomore was part of the University of Chicago Medley Relay team that finished in 3rd place.
