The Cubs clipped the Dodgers, 4-3, in Cactus League play yesterday. Jon Lester struck out two over three scoreless innings, while Mike Olt had a pair of hits in the win. The Cubs will clash with the Angels this afternoon.
The White Sox played to a 4-4 tie with the Rangers in Cactus League action yesterday. Conor Gillaspie and Geovany Soto had two hits and an RBI apiece for Chicago. The White Sox will square off with the Giants this afternoon.
The White Sox also announced that pitcher Chris Sale will not be ready for the season opener on April 6th against Kansas City. He is still recovering from a broken foot.
