The Blackhawks will be without defenseman Johnny Oduya for a couple weeks due to an upper-body injury. Oduya suffered the injury during Sunday's loss to the Bruins. Oduya has two goals and three assists in 60 games this season.
The Blackhawks open up a home-and-home series with the Panthers at the United Center tonight. Chicago's losing streak was extended to three with a 6-2 loss to the Bruins on Sunday. The 'Hawks are just 2-and-5 on their eight-game homestand. Tonight's game is at 7:30.
The Blackhawks havw also brought up goalie Scott Darling from Rockford. He will start tonight.
Darling also get a 2-year contract with the club.
