Jordan Hill racked up 26 points and 12 rebounds as the Lakers edged the Bulls 123-118 in double-overtime at STAPLES Center. Wayne Ellington added 23 points for the Lakers, who put an end to their nine-game losing streak. Jordan Clarkson chipped in with 18 points and Carlos Boozer had 16 points and eight boards off the bench in the victory. All-Star Jimmy Butler dropped in a game-high 35 points for Chicago, which has lost two of three. Fellow All-Star and former Laker Pau Gasol posted 20 points, 10 boards, six assists and four blocks in his return to LA. Gasol spent the previous six-plus seasons with the Lakers.
