Jake Muzzin scored the go-ahead goal with 3:37 left in regulation as the Kings clipped the Blackhawks 4-3 at STAPLES Center. Tyler Toffoli tallied the tying score with 6:11 left in the third period. Jeff Carter scored the other two goals and added an assist for the Kings, who snapped a four-game skid. Jonathan Quick made 26 saves in the victory. Patrick Kane, Patrick Sharp and Andrew Shaw lit the lamp for Chicago, which had won its previous two. Corey Crawford allowed four goals on 27 shots in defeat.
The Blackhawks continue their road trip on Friday in Anaheim.
