Bulls win 5th straight game

The Bulls pulled away from the Lakers in the fourth quarter outscoring them by 14 and going on to a 113-93 win at the United Center. Pau Gasol led the way with 23 points and 13 rebounds, while Jimmy Butler added 21, six boards and five assists. Derrick Rose contributed 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting for Chicago, which has won five in-a-row and eight of nine. Kobe Bryant sat out a second consecutive game as the Lakers have gone 1-and-1. Wesley Johnson posted a team-high 19 points. Ed Davis compiled a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds in the defeat.

The Bulls are at home Saturday against New Orleans. The Pre-Game Show begins at 6:30 on Newstalk 1060.
