Jack Johnson scored the game-winning goal in the ninth round of the shootout to lift the Blue Jackets to a 3-2 win over the Blackhawks at Nationwide Arena. Jack Skille netted his fifth goal of the year and Kevin Connauton lit the lamp as well. Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 39-of-41 shots to help guide Columbus to its eighth victory in its last nine games. Patrick Sharp found the back of the net for Chicago and Ben Smith added a goal in the third period. Corey Crawford had 17 saves for Chicago, which lost its second straight road game.
