According to "The Tribune" offensive coordinator Aaron Kromer admitted in a team meeting he was the leak for an NFL Network report that used an anonymous source to criticize quarterback Jay Cutler. Cutler was in the room when the apology took place, and the story stated he was seen shaking his head

The White Sox and Marlins pulled a trade on the final day of the Winter Meetings. The Sox sent pitcher Andre Rienzo to Miami for lefty Dan Jennings. Rienzo was 4-and-5 with a 6.82 ERA while Jennings was 0-and-2 with a 1.34 ERA in 47 games last season.
