Chicago Sports

Brandon Saad's goal with 27 second left in regulation lifted the Blackhawks to a 4-3 win over the Canadiens. Michal Rozsival, Ben Smith and Jonathan Toews also lit the lamp for the 'Hawks, who have reeled off five straight wins. Antti Raanta made 38 saves in the win. Brendan Gallagher, Sergei Gonchar and P.K. Subban all found the back of the net for Montreal, which has dropped two straight and five-of-six. Carey Price stopped 32 shots in the loss.

The Blackhawks will be in Nashville tonight.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall remains in a local
hospital 2 days after injuring his ribs and lung in Thursday's
game against the Dallas Cowboys. The Bears announced that Marshall
fractured two ribs as the result of a hit from Cowboys safety Barry
Church during the second quarter of Chicago's 41-28 loss. According
to the team, the lung injury is what is keeping the Pro Bowl
wideout hospitalized, and he has already been ruled out for the
Bears' next game against New Orleans on Dec. 15. There's a strong
possibility that Marshall's season is over, since Chicago was
officially eliminated from playoff contention with Thursday's loss.

The Chicago Bulls return to action tonight at the United Center as they take on Golden State.

The Pre-Game Show begins at 6:30 on Newstalk 1060.
