Jannik Hansen recorded his first career hat trick as the Canucks skated to a 4-1 win over the Blackhawks in Vancouver. Radim Vrbata also lit the lamp in the third for the Canucks, who have won four of six. Ryan Miller made 24 saves in the victory. Kris Versteeg scored the lone goal for Chicago, which had its three-game winning streak snapped. Corey Crawford allowed three goals on 29 shots in the setback.
The Blackhawks will be in Colorado on Wednesday.
